Is $50 savings good enough to justify the added effort and headache if something goes wrong

It all depends upon what state you are in. When I lived in CA, they tax the retail amount of the phone (almost $100). In WA, they tax what you pay for the phone (about $5).

I traded in my S22 Ultra for a iPhone 14 Pro max. To be honest the iPhone sucks in every aspect compared to my S22, aside from Facetime. I personally wouldn't trade it for a Flip, but I am by no means a Apple Fanboy.
