In this very thorough comparison, the 4060 averaged 16% faster at 1080p and 13% faster at 1440p... and that's without using frame generation. The 4060 will also max out at much lower power draw, resulting in lower temperatures and less noise, which is nice.
300 nits is fine for any indoor use. I care a lot more about color gamut, response time, and contrast, which are all good. There are some shitty displays, but this isn't one of them.
That's how I thought until I use 500 nits. They are night and day different and can't go back.
Why don't laptops have trackpad buttons anymore!?
I play UO and Minecraft, both of which you can play fine if there are buttons. Without buttons, its nigh impossible (most trackpads don't allow a held click and movement at the same time)
The trackpad is clickable. Pushing the left lower corner = left mouse click, double tapping anywhere on the touchpad or pushing the right lower corner = right mouse click. Holding the left click while moving the cursor works just fine.

I own this laptop and 300 nits works for me. In fact I don't even max out the screen brightness most of the time.

I know they're clickable. that's not the point. buttons are objectively better. and most laptops are very finicky when it comes to holding a click, and then moving the cursor around or looking around in a game for example.
Lenovo says delivery after 9/15....can't wait that long.
seriously like wtf, ain't nobody got time for that. Was about to pull the trigger until i saw this delivery after 9/15...
Ended up getting legion slim 7i gen8 with i9 and 4070 with these same coupon codes for $1553, delivery before end of August it seems, thanks op for the coupons.
RTX 4060 or any other cards below RTX 4080, don't consume more than 100W in gaming, due to nvidia's voltage restriction and RTX 4060 on 100W, beats a full powered 140W RTX 3060 in each and every games. Check any reviews. It is RTX 4050, which again at around 95W, is more or less equivalent to a full powered RTX 3060.
