No brainer as far as I'm concerned.
Anything sold from woot needs to be 80–90% off to be worth the risk. Woot is a liquidation company that buys up companies unwanted junk and returns. These are used, abused, and no warranty items that even Amazon warehouse would refuse to sell.

*Edit: I see now this is a refurb. Had good luck with the new unit, but haven't tried anything refurbished from Woot

Do you just hate Woot?
"More than pays for itself" feels like an understatement. I was using a RainBird before which had WiFi but no smart skipping. It was slow to connect, the interface was clunky, and I often forgot to manually skip waterings. After installing the Rachio I went from averaging $200-250 a month for water to less than $100 per month, and my lawn is still adequately watered.
