I sleep hot. I'm always warm when my wife is cold. Not having heat issues with this pad. It is so deep I was able to put it on over top of my existing pad. Made sleeping on my 10 year old mattress bearable.

Better use cotton sheets. Agreed though, poly filler will make yah warm is you run hot.

Cotton or cotton blend works great. Cooling mattress pads are constructed with absorbent, breathable materials. Many are under $50.00 if you have a queen, full or twin sized mattress.

19.5k reciews and 4.4 rating on Amazon, FWIW (didn't check Fakespot). Based on quick look, most feedback seems to indicate runs cool, tho some do say it's hot. Like most of you it seems, I definitely run hot so am on fence right now. Am looking for something on firmer side, too.

Look into the Bedjet. I live in south Florida and I've always sweated profusely. Since I've gotten a bedjet, I've woken up cool and dry every day. For couples, you can get a dual zone climate sheet that will allow you to sleep cool and your wife to sleep warm/hot

This might sound ignorant, but why would I need this? Are they intended for people that aren't comfortable on their mattress currently?

I'm completely satisfied with my memory foam mattress and always sleep like a rock. However, I do wish the mattress was a little taller so that my sheets would fit better since they're pretty deep. I'm not sure if would resolve that or if it would even be worth it if they did.

Got one of these a few weeks ago. We used it for about a week and both my girlfriend and I had back and chest pain every night. Can't return it since it's from woot. Probably going in the trash soon.
