I don't know what his story is but I recently learned that these synthetic fabrics are laden with BPA. I own my share of clothing with moisture wicking properties but now tend to prefer cotton for my underwear.

I'm not convinced this is a "BPA got into me and now i developed something" situation....i think if that were the case, you'd have so many more issues b/c polyester fabrics are used everywhere

I would stay away from this particular model. After a few washes the waist band seems to lose elasticity and curls up. 8 pair I have and rhey all do it.

Last time I got these i saw a hole at the seams after first wash.


My take This brand is general.

I got their shirts. They feel great! Sadly after 2 washes the front of the collar started fraying,

Their socks design on the front, the position of the seem can be uncomfortable.

Their above knee shorts have been good so far, no issues so far!

You made me go on a quick research dive and now I'm depressed. While it's not guaranteed 32 degrees clothing has BPA, it's highly possible and probable. That's a real bummer because they are by far my favorite brand.

nothing wrong from a physical perspective

but i developed prostatitis/CPPS (no causation necessarily due to the boxers) which in itself has all kinds of side effects, one being sensitivity that I had for a period of time, which then made me need to switch to cotton

seems unlikely one would get sick or have issues from wearing clothing

i'd like to see a study that proved any correlation
