Someone posted links to other brand units that are in all likelihood, the same units rebadged. They all have good reviews.

Other Woot forum folks said they bought these when they were on sale last year for $640 and they've been happy with them.

Don't waste your money on this, I had one and had a bunch of issues with it
Even coming from the same factory there can be significant difference in performance and reliability based on the choices of the private label customer. For example, they could buy a particular component from Japan or Malaysia and get a quality caps, like solid caps or they could choose to get cheap chinese electrolytic caps for less than half the price. Electrolytic caps have shorter lifespan and are far more sensitive to heat degradation so lower reliability.

Just cause it's cheap per watt, doesn't mean it's good quality.

I'd agree with you in general but we're not talking about Sony versus Sanyo or some shit. These are all no name brands. Guarantee they have the same guts. I doubt Ideaplay is any different than Oukitel or the FFpower. Same rebranded, mass produced Chinese product.

If this looked identical to an Ecoflow, just with different branding, I'd 100% agree with you.

Normal electric dryers use about 5-6kw of power so definately not. If it's gas then yes actually. If it's one of those heatpump ones then also yes(I believe).

Should be able to run the washer. No way on the dryer if it's a standard 240v resistance heat dryer since this power station doesn't have 240v. Might run a heat pump washer dryer combo.

I suppose the question is, why? Running a washer isn't generally critical in a power outage.

This looks like the closest product on Amazon with actual reviews:
https://www.amazon.com/FFpower-Po...09N7744M8?

Seems generally ok, but there are quite a few reviews complaining about it stop working

I don't know, but if I had to guess, since the other brand is getting better reviews that might be a clue. Also, when price drops too quickly for no obvious reason from external factors. Perhaps they might be seeing an abnormal increase in warranty claims and problems. Dropping the price to get them out the door is a common choice. Also, the offer of partial refunds and they keep the product despite the issues. Deep discount and they at least recover some cost. Reviews and comments from buyers offer the best clues.

This is what happened with mine and why I recommended to stay away on the second comment. Woot was really great about taking it back for a full refund though.
