Xfinity pricing is always based on the fact how much people can spend in their service area + how many other competitors are there. So lot of YMMV.

tl;dr, paying with a part of your soul is the only slickdeal I've found as an existing customer.

50 seems like a deal until you realize:
You more then likely have to rent their modem.. which is 15 bucks a month... oh wait unlimited internet is $30.... but if u get xfi complete you modem and unlimited for $25.. what a deal right?
oh new customers get xfi complete for $10 for 24months thats such a deal..
oh you must have a bank account for discount.... HARD pass on xfinity if you can.
Meanwhile fiber from sonic is $40. unlimited internet and 1gig up/down. no modem rental and doesnt have the mandatory comast outage once a week.

1. I can switch to a different name and apply for a connection as a new customer.
2. No SSN required, so no credit check.
3. No deposit required.
4. Subscribe to eBill and sign up for auto pay (with ACH) for additional discounts.
5. Contract and No Contract options, both are typically available.
6. Nowadays, unlimited data and DOCSIS 3.1 modem + WiFi 6 mesh router (with satellites) are included at no additional cost.

I am paying $10/mo for xfinity 75mbps and $10/mo for xfinity 200mbps at another home and its same experience.
You shouldn't have to pay $50/mo to watch netflix 4k or facebook.com
Rather invest in a GOOD router that will support those speeds thru out the house and multiple devices.
