Isn't this the cheapest its been? It has always been $1/lb as far as I'm aware. And the 160lb set dropped even more to $140.

Starting in 2020 it's been over a buck a pound, nice to see it coming down. I have the colored set of the Everyday Essentials bumper plates and they have worked well the past few months.
Recession incoming

Dumb question here. These aren't for bench lifting, right?

What is the difference between bumpers and iron plates in terms of use case?
My experience is the cast iron have more grip plus I think they can be smaller but don't quote me

They asked me to do this for some picture frames they shipped that showed up as shattered glass, took longer than I thought but eventually I was able to get to a manager that realized that it didn't make sense to ship and return a pile of broken glass back to Amazon... might be worth trying to keep asking for just a credit.
Really is stupid how they won't do adjustments if you ordered within 10 days or something. I'm $10 difference right now

They weigh the same.

Pick up heavy stuff.
Hold heavy stuff.
Put heavy stuff down.
Get big.
Ug Ug.

If by "bench lifting", you mean bench presses, you can USE them for that, but it's kind of overkill AND bumper plates are so wide they take up a lot of room on the bar PLUS they're somewhat unwieldy to pick up and handle b/c they don't have convenient hand grips.

Bumper plates are designed more to protect plates, bar, and floor from dropping them -- which shouldn't happen on a bench press -- and they're usually more expensive than cast iron, but not right now, and bumpers are quieter.

Bumper plates are all the same diameter so a 10 lb bumper is just as "tall" as a 45 so you aren't having to go down any lower to do say, a deadlift just because you are using lighter weight. People also prefer bumpers for olympic lifts where the weights make ground contact, they are better for the surface. If you have some type of good floor mat or aren't doing deadlifts or dropping weights then it doesn't matter much for that. Additionally, adding/removing weights on the ground is more annoying with bumpers because they are all touching the ground (unless you have a jack) as opposed to iron plates where it is easy to slide on/off a smaller 25 lb plate when you already have larger 45s on.

Do these have a bad smell like the rubber dumbbells when you first open them from the package?
These initially had a smell because their coated in oil as some shipping/manufacturing process. I washed them with a mild soap, hosed them down and let them sit on the porch for a week. I've had them for almost a year, no smell in the garage, the slightest smell if you put your nose up to them.

Is the Signature bar decent?
No, there are better budget bars out there. Check out the review sites for the budget/value picks. Weights are interchangeable, but bars make some difference.

Bumpers are going to be easier on your floor if you drop them or set them down not gently. This is helpful for things like deadlifts but very necessary for Olympic lifts like cleans, jerks, snatch, etc. If you just bench press all day in a rack, iron plates are fine.

Out of curiosity how much do you bench? That's a 495 bench with some room to spare on the bar with bumpers.

Short answer: Bumper plates are made to be dropped. Iron plates are not.
