Royal Canin with the clipped 40% S&S coupon for a 30 lb bag is $61.99. Kinda confused because Petoc, Petsmart all have this food for $99.99 for this size, but I see it's been lower in the past. I wonder if there is a shortage.

Good gravy, the ingredient list is god-awful. First ingredient brewer's rice, then chicken by-product meal?! It just gets worse from there.

Hard pass, even if it was 20 bucks. You can get 23lbs of Zignature for less than this, lower still with coupons, at a local place.

Royal Canin is a very good had has scientific backing. They hire top PHDs in animal nutrition and veterinary nutritionists. Byproducts are good, they include organs which are important for dogs. They also do feeding trials. As a person that learned my lesson with all these bullshit boutique dog feeds I trust them.

Royal canin is a great brand for dog food. My pup loves it. I followed the guidelines of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA), based on the Wirecutter dog food reviews article / recommendations and they met all of them.
