Bought this one last time around. Always good to have a battery operated radio in case of power outage..it works fine. This is not to play a concert or listen to every day but rather in case of emergency.

Warning..don't keep the batteries in the radio. I have a 4.pak of batteries attached to radio with rubber band. Nothing.like having the emergency radio and not having batteries.

fun fact in the USA cell phones cant use FM radio, most of the time. It is disabled on the request of T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T. In other countries, cell phones usually have the FM radio capability enabled.

True but in case of emergency it's AM radio you need. Also my older samsung s10 it required the earphone plugged in yo get radio. U can get apps for FM but when power goes out the cell antennas die and start using battery backup/generator and drop power to 25%. Getting radio works better. This one works and is cheap and I think even had NOAA weather band

These are good to have on hand in case you're accidentally transported several years into the past
