PS72 is a little bit cheaper in term of $/wh

PS72 is .46/wh while PS54 is .48/wh

depends on your need for more capacity, same power output.

So why the downvotes here and the upvotes on the PS54? Seems like it's simply a slightly larger brother. If the PS72 is worthy of downvoting, why wouldn't the PS54 be downvoted? I'm just trying to understand. I ordered one of the PS54 to try out - it should arrive next week.

PS72 is even better with two USB-C (100W) ports and five AC outlets. I don't understand downvoters.

Probably because the people burned by Bluetti the past few years saw this deal first and downvoted it. Their support and service is apparently terrible and their reliability isn't great which is a real bad combo.

What are you planning to use one for?

Every one of my "high end" battery backups fail to charge on my "high end" dual fuel Champion generator. Everybody blames each other but, because multiple brands of battery backups fail to charge, I'm going to say it's the generator's dirty power. I'm hoping these new breeds of solar generators (which generate nothing) that claim to work with gas generators will do just that - charge during an outage so I can keep my sensitive electronics running. Many of the marketing materials show them hooked up to a non-pure-sine wave generator.

If I have to go the pure sine wave generator route, it's going to get expensive because the little 1000-2000 watt units won't cut it for my needs.

The little 1000-2000 watt generator will do great for keeping your power stations charged, while the "dirty" generator can run the rest of the house.

You cold also use an AC to DC converter/charger and use that to dump some power into the battery backups.

Currently, who has the best customer service? I rather go with a more expensive product that has great service. Thanks.

There are tons of trolls on SD that thumb down everything that isn't free. Heck, they'd probably thumb down a free item as well just cause that's what gives them a rise while they wait on their peperoni hot pocket to cool down.

I honestly don't know as the 3 big brands (I think) are Jackeri, Bluetti and EcoFlow. Not sure who has great customer service, but Bluetti has "so bad it's almost a meme on SD" lol. I personally have done EcoFlow because Jackeri (last I saw) doesn't have a lot of LFP and isn't as affordable. But I haven't heard of a widescale failures in their products (or EcoFlows) necessitating enough support issues to warrant a reputation either way.

Probably the best thing to do is buy it from like a Costco type store that will backstop the warranty to some extent.

Also depends on what size system you are going with I imagine. I'm probably going to 3KWH this year for the tax break.

Oh gotcha. Honestly that is outside of my knowledge/experience base. I'm using my systems more for portable power so they charge from the wall mostly. Sorry. Main thing I wouldn't do is buy BLuetti at anything higher than "absurdly cheap".

Thank you so much for your comment. Appreciate it. Ecoflow is really bad in customer support. Reading ecoflow_community on Reddit made me stay away from them at any cost. Their customer service is non existent. I'm looking at probably 1000 to 2000Wh for camping and power outage. Nothing fancy.

ick @ ecoflow being bad on CS. That's unfortunate. Guessing their products are just more solid than Bluetti so they have less reason for Slickdealers to interact with their support team (so far).

Couple of important things to note if you camp when it's cold NMC has less of a drop off in cold temps than LFP on useable energy. It's also ostensibly lighter, but I haven't seen that much in actual units.

Also if you are looking at 2 KWH system and it's expandable, make sure to check the cost to go to 3 KWH because at that point you get the 30% tax credit and a lot of times the extra 1KWH is effectively free. Even if you never drain into that 3rd KWH during outages, having it will reduce wear and tear on your main units by keeping you well above the battery damaging <20% zone.

Thanks again! Appreciate it. Um... I haven't looked into Fed tax credit. I'll have to look it up. Appreciate all your inputs and advice. Thanks again.
