I own this and paid the same price last month from Best Buy. Don't think it makes any better a better cup than my Cuisinart. One thing I absolutely hate about it is that you cant extend the warming time. When auto shut off happens....you can't turn it back on to keep the coffee warm longer.

For $40 it's worth trying... but I would be returning it if it cost more.

I don't get why ppl aren't going crazy for this. Great coffee maker with correct brewing temps (up to 205 degrees) for $40. Thinking of buying for every room in the house at this point 😃

Great Moccamaster copy for 40 bucks. I was just reviewing it (5 stars) and saw the price was back to what I got it for a couple months back. Really great deal.

In theory, how it floods the water into the filter. Pour over you wet the grinds and allow for "bloom" time before brewing the rest of the water. No idea how well this pot emulates that in particular

I have a basic drip machine that has a "pour over setting. It's just squirts the water in burst over the grinds. Takes about 2+ mins longer to brew. I think it taste better.

I bought this last time it was on sale at Best Buy. It's really not a pour over machine but rather a glorified regular coffee maker. Don't expect great flavors out of the brews
