I bought this on prime day for the same price, so it is a good price. This is the wired version, which needs a base to install to and probably an electrician unless you have experience or are replacing something else.

Wired version was released in January 2023, there is no other wired version. It has 2600 lumens of light vs 700 lumens for the wireless attachment. Also a wider field of view and much easier than to change batteries every 4 months for the wireless floodlight.

It has a siren which I can turn on and off from the app or Alexa, as well as the ability to turn on the lights. Recommended purchase if you can find a way to install it.

Not sure why it's listed as Gen 1 though since this is the only one available and there's no documentation indicating a Gen 2 is coming out.

Mine goes unresponsive every other day. Wi-Fi connection is not the problem. My Eero is 3 feet directly above it on the inside of the house. The Eero app shows strong connection. It just simply stops responding. The lights won't even go on. I hit the reset button and it immediately works again. No response from Blink support on this. Every other blink camera I own works great. It's absolutely frustrating.

I have a 4 camera setup with 1 module only a few feet away and they all seem to have issues. Moving things around, reinstalling everything more than once, etc has not helped. I'm not sure what else to do to fix it. Thinking of returning the cameras, at this point. The cameras go offline randomly, and reinstalling everything more than once and doing what they recommend, has not improved things.

Cheap junk made in China, they are most likely spying on you anyway. Return it

I have 2 of these and have the same issue with them losing Wi-Fi connection daily. I have to go in and "change wifi" and enter in the network password and then it connects. They seem to lose connection around the same time everyday. I've tried everything: static IP assignment, dedicated 2.4ghz network, assigned them as high priority and they keep disconnecting. Glad to know I'm not going crazy and there is a legit problem with these lights.

Anyone know if they will get free storage like the Blink wireless cameras?

I suppose that except for the wireless cameras that Woot sold none of the other Blink cameras get free storage unless you had an account prior to a certain date?
