Good write up but you should not be deducting the shop card from the cost, which is still 60 dollars and not 15.

No you can't, only if your account is already expired before March 31, 2023

Have someone else signup (spouse, significant other) and put them as primary and yourself as secondary (domestic) and it will work. As long as the primary hasn't had a membership recently.

Where is the $45 Shop card and "$40 off $250" coupons sent to?
Are they sent by Groupon (to the purchaser's email) or by Costco (to the email using which the membership is registered)?

Asking to see if I could buy the Groupon, gift the Costco membership to someone but still keep the freebies for myself.

Thanks for the info. Did not know they give extra $50 doing that and i was actually interested in getting their visa too but probably at a later time. Will do it together then. I only seen them giving some random stuff at the warehouse for getting their visa credit card. Sucks its $50 only but better than nothing, specially if you plan to do it either way.

Can you use the $45 shop card and the $40 off promo code in the same transaction? I have feeling they consider the shop card a promo code that you can't combine with other codes, Instacart does that.
