Have someone else signup (spouse, significant other) and put them as primary and yourself as secondary (domestic) and it will work. As long as the primary hasn't had a membership recently.

A few years ago it seemed like every other deal post added the "double cashback in the first 12 months of being a discover card holder! That crap is better left in the comments.
I'm sure it's been said but, this membership starts as soon as you buy the groupon.
It's been about 24 hours for me so far with nothing and I'm also having trouble actually logging in to Groupon's website.

You can get a store card when you go in but the membership is already active online.

Also, the digital "member card" did not work at check out. They had to manually enter it in. I went to the membership desk to get it fixed, and they essentially had me go thru the application process again. Hard card was issued on the spot.
They say that only the hard card will work at their gas pumps, but I have yet to try.
