I don't think the 5g version does mmwave. 5g is otherwise using THE SAME frequencies as 4g.

In other words, the same spectrum as LTE was in most cases. The millimeter wave 5g is still very limited.

All that said yeah the 5g version of this phone is better. This one's just ok and the price isn't bad.

Side note, they're huge phones. Literally about as much screen as a Nintendo switch. About as big a device minus the controllers.

I actually ran Wi-Fi networks back in those days and microwave ovens did emit enough broad spectrum interference to knock out some Wi-Fi devices in the 2.4 range. This was not from being on the same power circuit as you suggest. It was an observable effect that could be seen using a wireless spectrum analyzer.

When they will stop supporting upgrades on this phone??

I looked into it and Motorola has usually given 2 Android updates before ending updates. They updated my Moto G Power twice. Every once in a while, I'll get a security update. Android 12 has been released for this phone. I didn't see anything regarding Android 13 for this phone and it was rolled out I think in August 2022.

Except the Switch has a 16x9 screen. where-as phones these days have all sorts of retarded and arbitrary aspect ratios. which means, even a 7" phone won't get you the same real-estate as the Switch.

Pirinclik AB / Diyarbakir Air Station is one of the places I was assigned. Need a clearance of TS/SCI/TK to even access the base. The base is no longer classified since operations are shut down. Here's a nice little video of the Tx % Rx and arrays. We picked up dead foul and animals. Fried. Perhaps look into it some. It's already been confirmed My last assignment was the Air Intelligence Agency. No need to list any of the details on my DD-214.

How about doing some actual research instead of listening the LSM. Read some actual medical research. Maybe research who the scientist was that discovered the cause of Rouleaux Formations in the blood. This is just one of many. Are you one of those carrier shills.
I worked Satellite comms in the Military. One big (and very relevant difference) is the power those dishes use. I'm not saying cell signals have no effect, they likely do long-term.
People who refuse to believe that the electromagnetic spectrum can't be damaging, have maybe never used a microwave?

Sorry, but you and the guy you're responding to are just spouting nonsense fear mongering.

Unless you're trying to climb into your microwave, you've purposely disabled the lockout on the door, or the unit is ancient and you have your face pressed up against the glass, the amount of EMI emitted on a fully functioning unit is minimal.

It's also an easy stepping stone in the fear mongering to conflate the reports that early models of WiFi routers were getting knocked out whenever a microwave was run, because they just so happen to overlap in the 2.4Ghz spectrum. What they didn't always mention was that it was specific microwaves that just so happened to be running on the same circuit as the router in many cases. But, naturally, conspiracy nuts ran with it. You can still buy "WiFi faraday cages" on Amazon for your router because of this.

As for 4G/5G, cell signals are omnidirectional. If the EMI is harming you, not buying a 5G phone isn't going to make a difference.

Unless maybe you intend on swallowing the thing?

Better performance but not worth the health risks. I've seen what these frequencies can do when I worked around RF/EMF transmitters and receivers while in in the military. 4g is bad enough.
Fake news! 5G is not a health risk. Please don't troll on slick deals.

You've been on too many conspiracy websites. Also I doubt the equipment you were working with sounds like an apples to apples comparison with a phone

I've got a moto sylus 5g 2022 and I have a constant notification "Samsung SD card For transferring photos and media" with a settings option, explore and eject options. I can clear it, but it just comes back. I recently had an Amazon SD card in there that went bad, but it never had this notification. With the samsung SD I can't make it go away.According to this, it's a feature not a bug
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/moto...-p/5184741
Thank you for taking the time to post. I'm afraid this notification cannot be removed. Because restarting refreshes the phone, this notification only appears when you restart it to keep you informed of your storage and that an SD card is inserted on your device. This is a feature of the Android 12 OS.
Let us know if you have further questions.

Anyone have a solution? It's weird that a feature of Android 12 OS would do this for one type of SD card, but not another.

In my opinion Moto Stylus 5G is far better. It has better processor better from cam etc. It was available on boost mobile for $50 + $2 unlock code few weeks back. Still available for <$100 there.

With the unlock, would it work on Verizon or only GSM networks?
