This monitor just came out so, no it hasn't been $1300 before( maybe you're thinking of that none OLED)

As for the reviews I was one who wrote a bad one for vertical banding. Customer service has been a pain to navigate and my work order has been cancelled bc they didn't copy my photos from Samsung to the 3rd party vendor.

Basically buyer beware but I do love the oled if I can ever get my issues resolved.

I use this all day for gaming and for work, have screen fairly close to where I sit. No neck problems or anything ever.

Edit: I use the Odyssey G9 which is the same size, so not this specific OLED monitor

I think you are confused and saw a different model, this model only has 1800R curve which is a lot less than the 1000R curve of previous models

I was replying about the LG; as far as I know the only lg 45" oled has a 800R radius and resolution of 3440x1440.

Your confusing this OLED 49" with the older Odyssey G9 QLED. That is NOT the same as OLED. QLED is LCD OLED is not. Cheers! Easy mixup to make.

If you pre ordered a flip or fold, it shows for you, when you log into your Samsung account and place your order. If it doesn't you can chat and have them add it. If you ask nicely. Samsung order support had always been top notch.
