    exactly. couple days ago they deleted my post and then my repost to a thread just mentioning that there were many of the exact product all over amazon for a much cheaper price. no message to me or anything, hoping i wouldn't notice. when i noticed and called them out on it they just said i broke the forum rules by mentioning there were cheaper listings for the same exact thing by other sellers.

    SD Staff is really pushing this Baseus brand and others with "discount codes". Reminds me of years ago when Chinese companies were paying SD members to shill their Amazon listings with similar codes. SD shut that down and banned participating members.

    Now SD themselves are the shills 😉

    Anyone have this that can chime in? I had a full length Lenovo dock, but didn't work with my work PC due to driver issues Frown

    Is heat an issue on smaller docks like these?

    I purchased the 8 port version of this hub (one less HDMI port) back in 2021 and it's been a very reliable hub for Intel and M-series Macbooks and works with my USB-C iPad as well.

    This one looks like it does 4k at 120hz which is better than mine and it costs less. If you're in the market for a USB-C hub this is a good deal. Just be warned, this won't do display replication like DisplayLink does. So if you are limited natively to 1 external monitor (ex. MacBook Pro M1) this won't let you use both HDMI ports.

    I got this 9 in 1 Baseus dock back when the ROG Ally was released. It works fine as a general cheap dock that has power pass-thru. Have it on a LG B2 TV. Was having trouble pushing 120Hz 4k from the ROG, old Asus ROG laptop with a 980m video card and a Lenovo X12 detachable. Pushes 1440p 120Hz fine though.

    The ASUS ROG laptop has a full HDMI port that pushed 4k 120Hz fine thru the same cable.

    I don't have or care about 4K support, however, I do have two 2560x1440 displays. Can I run the primary @ 120Hz and the second at 60 or 75Hz?

    I just received mine yesterday, gets a little warm but not too bad I'm getting output issues with the 2nd hdmi port, doesn't output greater than 800x600 can't figure out of it's a driver issue or what. 1st hdmi only outputting 60 hz in 4k(could be by Lenovo X1's imitation though).

    I'd be happy with dual 1080p with this and that's not even happening at this point. 4k out of one and something shitty out the other, don't know what going on. I have a fancier usb-c dock at work that has no issues. with 4k and 1080 simultaneously.

    Per Amazon's description, looks to be one display is up to 120Hz and the 2nd would be 30Hz.

    Shilling may be happening, but this brand appears to be filling the void left by Aukey getting delisted. Got a power bank from them, went dead in a week, and support sent me a new one that works great
