If you like tactile switches, NiZ switches are pretty quiet. They kind of sound like... Boiling water when typing on it. Technically rubber dome (capacitive non contact) they're Korean Topre clones but come factory lubed so quieter. I picked one up on creagslst for $40 actually which is sooo sweet esp because they're hard to find in stock sometimes. I hear the Gamakay TK75 with their pegasus switch is pretty nice and super quiet if you just want a prebuilt and don't want to mess with switches.

As someone with way too many keyboards, I would recommend this. If you like clicky switches, box whites are awesome (just know they're fairly easy to press). They're actually my favorite switch as of right now. Overall, this seems like a great package for $100 honestly. Unless there happen to be unforseen issues with it (unlikely), I think this will be a great board.

These look really cool! The keys are not backlit, right?

I see one issue with it, Mac support isn't listed. 😭

Wow I didn't realize it had box whites! I think I would like to have a board with them again. I got rid of my old box white keyboard... I have two with box Jades and a box navy. I like the jades more than the navy but mannn it's just so damn clicky and loud! when I had the whites I felt I had to "upgrade" to jades but it's a bit much sometimes. I love my Zeals Clickiez or whatever they're called, probs my favorite clicky switch, but remembering whites... I am def considering this one.

Yeah I was telling them about NiZ switches! I almost like them more than my Topre sometimes! Being factory lubed and having cherry stems so I can switch out my keycaps is just so nice. I only have one Topre, it's a HHKB, just crazy expensive stuff. Love the keyboard though.

I really liked my black inks, although I only had the v1's. They used to be undisputed for linear! I ended up switching them out for Aqua kings which I like a bit more. Kind of underrated switch I think. I just don't hear much about them. Apparently TTC makes some really quiet linear switches that people like, I have never really tried something marketed as a "silent" switch so I don't really know if it makes the key feel any different. some of them sound so quiet they seem like they would be almost squishy, but maybe It's just the sound and they feel just fine.

The Fami version is the Japanese colorway for the NES (called Family Computer, FamiCom)
