Attention Sders. Heed my words.

If you're solely using these for 1 Mac or iOS device, they're not bad.
If you're using this with a Mac & PC combination or want a no-compromise top of the line option, get the Sony XM5s.

After using the AirPod Pro Max and the Bose QC45s, I returned them for the Sony XM5s and boy o boy what a difference.

I wonder who refurbishes these? 6 month warranty (normal refurb warranty from anyone but Apple is 90 days).

cast my vote for buying the bose qc 45 that you can get brand new for much cheaper. Def wouldn't buy a refurbished set of headphones for almost $400. Also, they are extremely heavy and don't have usb c

Have you tried the XM4s? for some reason the predecessor is much better than the XM5s. You're pretty spot on, only get these if you're in the Apple ecosystem.

Yes I had the XM4s. the XM5s IMO are superior. XM4s develop cracks, are much less comfy and ANC is worse. Plus you can get the XM5s refurbished (like brand new!) for $220 on sale!

Got the QC45s for $169 shipped during their last sale (w/ edu discount stacked). Gotta say, for the money these guys are awesome!

Whats the warranty/condition of these? Im guessing Target refurbished means customer returns? I cant imagine Target is actually repairing any of these headsets.

A couple issues with these:
1. This thing weighs 50% more than the competition (Sony XM5). That's not good for travel headphones.
2. As one of the YouTube reviewers put it, these make you look like you're about to take a ride in Disneyland. Smilie

Anyway, they scream you're rich. (But do they really?) That'll be worth something for some. They will sell out.

The good thing about them is that Apple only allows audio sharing between two pairs of headphones if you paid the Apple Tax on both. You can't do audio sharing on your iPad using the Sony XM5s, so you can't watch the same movie with your wife on your iPad unless you both use Apple headphones.

Qc45 is Not on the same level.
The airpod max is next gen technology compared to qc45.

I used airpod max on a bloody loud south west flight and it was like being in a silent room. Unreal!

AirPod max sound is superior . Perhaps not the comfort. Also the Sony is over priced like crazy! If you don't like AirPod max but want amazing sound go got momentum 4 !!

I would get new and get Apple warranty. Buying without a two year warranty is risky for such a expensive item
