You nvidia or amd only fanboys are ridiculous. Competition is good. It will lead to lower prices for consumers. Support Intel video cards you losers

I'm an Nvidia fan as well, but saying you will not even consider other options… seems like a bad move. This is Nvidia we are talking about that just launched the worst lineup since the 2xxx series. The same Nvidia that did us dirty on the 3060 8gb and the 1030 ddr4 and the 970 3.5gb and so on.

It's been in and out of stock for the past month hovering between 220 to 250, I haven't seen it at 200 flat ever. Regardless, it's still a deal considering it's a 3060 competitor, and 3060s near this price would be wild

Graphics cards can be finicky. Even my AMD cards have been finicky enough over all my years owning PCs since the early 90s that I tend to stick with NVIDIA now, no matter how good the AMD cards are priced. I trust their CPUs since the Advent of Ryzen, but graphics cards I'm a bit pickier about. Given all of that, it would probably take a lot for me to make the jump on one of these Intel gpus. I just feel like anything with lower market share is bound to be less generalizable to programs and processes and more likely to have issues.

A jump over to amazon sort of confirms that. The A750 product I found first had a 3.9 out of 5.0. and the first review was titled something like 'a good graphics card, if you're tech savy'. I am tech savy, but the thing is, I don't want to have to troubleshoot and fix whatever might be going wrong. There's so many headaches in life, I don't need another one

Curious if ARC commonly runs into driver issues? I like that its now cost effective, but im concerned that intel being so young at GPUs will have game and software ecompatibilities.

When these first dropped to $200-250, it was a good price. However, AMD shortly followed with price drops on the RX6600 and 6650XT that IMHO make this price too high. The 750 is better than the 6600 for newer games, but older games and driver stability is still a work in progress. The 6650XT is faster than the 750 almost across the board, and that probably isn't going to change much with driver updates. There have been multiple sales of the 6650XT for $225 and less and the 6600 for $180, both of which would be a better deal than this. At $175 I think the 750 would be a slickdeal.

If you play DX12 games, I can tell you that my Intel A770 LE has been wonderful. Purchased mine in February. I play Fortnite and Diablo 4. Drivers are robust now. SC2, which is DX9 ran well. I just don't play many DX11 games, and from everything I have read...if you play DX11 games you should choose something else.

My biggest gripe is that the thing idles at 40W if you use multiple monitors over 120hz. Which is most folks. I run two 1440p monitors at 165hz. So even with ASPM (which is required to get low power usage on a single monitor, I can't achieve very low idle power. That said, supposedly the higher end video cards that have millions of transistors, they too are having issues with idle power usage.

I bought my A770 back in Feb for $350. Been rock solid, and I typically allow that computer to sleep when I am not gaming. The idle power usage doesn't matter much to me. I'm completely happy, but I play newer titles. And for that, it has excelled.

**UPDATE** Also, this card essentially requires REBAR support in your bios in order to operate at its optimal speed. If your motherboard doesn't support rebar, id choose a different card as well..

I'm seeing a lot of general recommendations to stay away from 8GB cards lately, as a major potential bottleneck for future games.

I'm running an A370M on my Zenbook and I've been running beta drivers for a while. That seems to fix the majority if not all the issues I've experienced with the non-beta drivers. You need to make sure that you change the group policy in Windows to disable driver updates via Windows Update though. Otherwise MS will keep trying to install different drivers it thinks are newer.

I am currently still on an NVIDIA GTX 1080ti, how does this card compare to my 1080ti?

Also, how does this card do with Linux?

It's all compatibility and cost for performance. I am not loyal to any particular brand. Whoever offers the best performance for the lowest will get my money.

1080ti is still MUCH better. Hold the line!
