The Google says yes because the Switch console is region free.

Is this an official controller made by Nintendo? And has amiibo functionality, etc?

Yes. Officially Nintendo with all the features of the regular Pro Controller. As for an NFC reader, I don't know right off the top of my head.

If it's an official Pro controller, it should have NFC

Translated negative reviews all mention bad left stick drift. I'm going to take a chance on it as I've had 3 other orders canceled since this controller launched.

If it's just a repainted Pro controller, it should only be as bad a problem as it is for them (4.8 stars with vastly more reviews). I'm sure they make tiny changes to the internals from time to time, but I'm guessing that the lower score for this version is just relatively small sample size.

Will know for sure soon. In for one!

This Pro controller wasn't in stock when I picked up Zelda Tears of the Kingdom so I picked up the PowerA version instead. That controller is already having an odd input-bounce where it thinks you're pulling down on the left thumbstick randomly. Of course they use a different shape and sized stick on the inside so I can't replace it...

At least with an official Pro controller, I have parts for those. In for 1. TY!
