    I like the older model with the blue cloth strand mops. It works great and is a bit cheaper too.

    Theyre decent, but much prefer the no step spin mops. Got a Spinado and never touched my O-Cedar again.

    I'm legitimately curious as to the benefits of the stepping vs just pushing down on the mop itself.

    Agree. This is a horrible mop. It comes up to the waist and is impossible to actually mop forward and back. Flimsy awful poor product.

    Keep in mind the actual mop is really small, so this is good for mopping a 50 sqft area. I have the 2 bucket version and use it for my garage to clean up the epoxy surface. Overall, this is a pretty good deal. You can get generic replacements cheap, but make sure it's for this specific model.
