If you're thinking of going with nvidia cards this I don't think this has the new connector.
The pictures are wrong, they're for the 1100W newer version.
That's why I'm still waiting. I went ITX but it BARELY fits my old ATX PSU....so I'm still using it for now.

I'm debating between mitx and mid tower atx. Is this deal good enough to jump on even if I end up using it in an atx case?

Or is there a far cheaper good option with an atx PSU?

Generally, yes, they'll be cheaper. But, sfx psu's are usually quite a bit more expensive. If you're seriously considering an itx build, then having the flexibility with this is definitely worth the extra $20 or so that you're paying, now.
