The only Finish brand tabs that are recommended by consumer reports are Finish Quantum. Costco and Sam's Club store brands are significantly cheaper than this discounted price and are well-reviewed.

Can you share why these aren't recommended by CR? I think these are what are recommended by Bosch for their dishwashers, and I've heard gelpacks or other alternatives don't work well for them.

That's largely a marketing agreement made between the detergent companies and the dishwasher manufacturers. I don't know why CR doesn't recommend these specifically, probably because they don't clean as well as the Quantum or Cascade Platinum. For what it's worth, I have a newer Samsung dishwasher, and when it's full of dirty dishes (never pre-rinse!), both Finish Quantum and Cascade Platinum gelpacs perform equally well. Once I start running low I'll switch to Sam's Members Mark and see how those perform.
