this year's model and meanwhile sony costs barely less than that for a 42 or 48 inch from LAST year and they both cost MORE than the 55 c3.

They probably do that so they can tell LG they sold it for a higher price. LG probably doesn't let them sell for less. But yeah that's annoying.

Technically it's illegal because I am paying $1,197 for 55 inches and I suppose to pay tax from that amount

If that is the case, why do you worry about Sony? Go with LG if it's cheaper and can't go wrong. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I assume it depends on the state you live in. In California they always tax the pre coupon or full price regardless of sale.

because I had the original lg oled and like a lot of tvs it bothered my head and sony is known for better processing. There's a reason sony keeps being able to charge so much more and yet it's still getting backed up for longer than usual shipping waits on amazon.

Isnt Sony using LG panels anyways? And reason they are more expensive because they have to buy those panels from LG? And the reason people keep buying them is because of marketing and people assuming more expensive means better?
