SK flash runs cooler and gets better performance. Price is reasonable for a better drive
Gen 3 are sweet spot for M2, runs cooler, better battery life, longer life span, and lower cost.
best laptop drive ever. Bought a 1tb to replace my laptops drive and I cannot complain , the most efficient gen 3 drive there is.

Wow. Amazing price... I paid like $125 for mine. But I guess that was like 3 years ago so lol.

These nvme ssd's are amazing though. Super fast and take like no power. I have heard they are terrible for customer service though but...

These are all good call outs; if you're looking for an NVMe for a laptop or a low-power device (say, a Raspberry Pi running off of PoE like this guy) then this would be the best option.

My pricing line has been $40 or less for Gen 4 NVMe due to the great pricing we saw on the SN770 just last week (and damn, I should have picked up two). Knowing about the power draw and heat positives on this drive is fantastic input.

People keep saying that this is low power usage, but what does that mean in reality? 1% longer battery life? 20%? 50%? Or is this anecdotal and it just "feels" better?

That really depends on what you currently have installed and how you use your device. It could be as much as an hour or as little as a few minutes. What device do you currently have; how much do you use it; and what storage do you currently have installed?
