Major airlines such as JetBlue, Alaska and Delta have round trip airfares travelling to and from San Francisco (SFO) and New York (JFK) for $198, nonstop. These are basic economy fares, a restricted-type fare. On Jetblue, you are only allowed a personal item. But on Alaska and Delta, you may have a personal item and a carry-on bag. There is no seat selection and no change.
