What's the point of optimizing for tube amplification if you are then going to run a highly compressed Bluetooth source into it?

I've never understood the combination, but perhaps someone can help me?
Deceptive pricing. Walmart has the list price at 129.99 and has it for sale at 97.99. Target also has this on sale for 97.99 (list price 229.99).
They do FINALLY have lossless Bluetooth audio now. This doesn't support it, though...

It's a tube front end with digital amplification, sounds is decent and better than lots of the micro or mini systems , for the price it's a great start tube listening .

Love the sound of non solid. I used mine for winter days. Definitely not these rotisserie days in the south 🫤

Bluetooth 5.0 is a significant upgrade, maybe that's why this one is cheap (BT 4.0)

Not really call Hi Fi gear. Well it's less than 100 just for fun.

I have this and like it just fine. I'm sure this thread will soon be filled with hifi nerds telling us how bad it is, but there are a lot of people who fall in the range between a garbage suitcase Crosley record player with built in speakers and the ones with amps that cost as much as a car down payment and this is a fine option for them. It sounds good and it looks cool. My biggest complaint is it has the world's most powerful bluetooth receiver. It will override and hijack the signal from any bluetooth headset, even if BT isn't turned on, so I have to switch the amp off entirely if I want to listen to BT through my earbuds or a portable speaker.

Me too after coupon. $97.99

Bite @ 84.......no sale @ 98

OOOOOOOOF. Would have bought to test out, but price change killed my purchase.

When will these sellers learn. Sales lost due to dumb price manipulation

Bluetooth is just a feature consumers expect these days. So it's going to be included. But you don't have to use it.

The pro move is to use the RCA inputs connected your computer, record player, or music streaming device (like WiiM Mini).

Bluetooth for convenience because our phones are probably the #1 most used way to listen to music right now? The tubes will still color the Bluetooth input and may be preferred over other Bluetooth sources. You still get the RCA input on this which is what I would use, unless I ran into a situation where I could only get the content I wanted from my phone and did not want to tether my phone next to the amp.
