Doom '93 is a 2D game that attempts to mimic 3D. The game doesn't even have a vertical axis. It's very similar to the old SNES mode 7 games. Doom 64 however is an actual 3D game that debuted on the N64. They're both great games, and both deserve a play through. This isn't an either or case. Both are worthwhile and distinctly different games.

Looking at Doom 64 and Doom 1993. 64 is single player only whereas 1993 has multiplayer. Any other details as to the differences in the two games (same price $1.99) so I'd think the 1993 version has more features as well as the add-ons?

I think doom 64 has a better campaign and atmosphere then doom 1 and 2 imo. Doom 1 and 2 are classics though and also have multiple dlc campaigns you can download. Alot of gamefor the price .I'd say probably start with the classics
I recently played thru Doom 64 on the Switch and absolutely loved it... just make sure you're finding all the secret levels throughout (must use a guide) or you'll never be able to beat the last level. Even with those lousy graphics, those games still someone manage to be kind of creepy.
I didn't like them for the simple fact that it was designed for hard core players.
I 100% the normal game but could barely make it through the first DLC.
If you really like the game, it might be worth another $7.50
Yes. Absolutely worth it. Think about it like this: the base game is effectively the tutorial leading up to the chaos that ensues in the DLC.
Thanks Jimmy Rush!

I haven't played the DLCs for Doom Eternal yet but planned to at some point. Are they hard as crap or something? The main game was great to me but the jumping stuff did get old.
