Btw, usage will very greatly. No way I'd drink a gallon of water from this per day, whereas a family of 4 might if it's there only source of h2o. If your family drinks that much filtered water at home per day, a pitcher like this wouldn't be a smart purchase anyway. You'd be constantly refilling it. You need a system with way more capacity.
I saw some tests on YT and the standard Brita water filters are pretty capable. They are not Zero water but they also cost less and last longer.
After I used this standard filter, I am going to use the better filtering and 3x longer lasting Brita Elite filters I bought on eBay - 6 for $57.00. I cannot find any really great tests on the Elite filters yet - if anyone has any links, please respond. Thanks.

All the zerowater pitchers I've bought on a "deal" came with the filter. I haven't seen "deals" on just the "pitcher". Have you?

At the register, they said I can either price match or use the coupons. So they were able to use one of the coupons. They mentioned it's a problem with the program as it recently got updated.
I left without the pitcher and called up Target customer support. They thankfully said they will override and allow me to use the online price, both coupons in my transaction, and then pick up in store. It was a long, frustrating road but I did get the product at the end.
