About this Product:
  • Simple, but sleek. Subtle yet studded out with playability, speed and support. The Vapor Lite 2 is ready for the court right out of the box and offers comfort for the players who like to do it all. With a familiar, super-comfortable underfoot feeling, they can help you hammer that volley at the net and stay mobile during a long rally with optimal traction. Once your session is complete, it's comfortable enough to wear walking off the court into wherever your day leads next.
  • With a plush 2-level foam system, this design keeps you comfortable and motoring for point after point.
  • Extra-durable mesh helps keep your feet cool. A molded rubber overlay at the front of the shoe adds durability.
  • Soft foam near the arch makes it easier to align your ankle with your foot while banking. Harder foam along the outside helps you push off during fast movements, whether you're playing tennis or pickleball.
  • The herringbone outsole uses a data-informed design to create optimal grip without impacting your ability to slide. It pays homage to some of the best designs in our Vapor line.
  • We removed rubber in low-wear areas to help keep weight at a minimum.
  • Full-length foot frame on the outside helps stabilize your foot during quick cuts.

Are these "lifestyle" shoes? The soles look nothing like they belong on the court. I got Wilson Rush Pro 3.5 https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/...R35PS.html . $49 now, but there was one of their frequent discounts that took $6 off, so I paid 43. These are definitely premium tennis shoes with stability, protection, and durability. Don't pay $40 for inferior shoes just because they are Nikes.
I returned these shoes (bought 2 pairs to get a free shipping). The outer sole looks like it will wear our very quickly. Quality didn't seem to be so great. But for $40, I shouldn't have expected to be good. Going to wait for better quality Nike tennis shoes to go on sale.

Agreed, I found this at my Nike Outlet stores for the same price of $40 but these shoes won"t last even for the weekend warriors. Aside from that the shoes don't offer much stability esp when you run side to side on the tennis courts (ankle sprain...). I used to like the adidas barricade but they completely changed the design and same with these Nikes they are not very stable. I prefer now the Asics tennis shoes a bit pricier but they are designed and built well for playing tennis

I agree. Wilson Rush Pro 3.5 is much better tennis shoes. Amazon is also selling for $49 plus $5.95 shipping.
