I selected Plaid option to login & link CapOne account but Fidelity still wanted to do 2 small trial deposits to confirm -- you can use Plaid or trial deposit option under EFT

I sent the money via transfer to the Capital One Bank. I had the PayPal account connected to the bank. Now, looking around in the app I see there is an option to send it via Xoom also and I'm wondering if that was the way I was supposed to do it. I'm probably overthinking it but wanted to ask. Thanks in advance, and stay slick my friends!

Paypal doesn't let to make it directly as one step transaction: 'Another Bank' (funding) -> Capital One when the Paypal balance is 0.
As opposed to the Paypal transfer Xoom does charge fees ~ $2.5 for $250, doesn't it?
I went into wallet, clicked my PayPal balance and transferred it to capital one that way. I also see that I could have clicked the send button and went through it that way. I guess I will see. My second transfer went in this morning so I will update if I get the bonus either way. Looks like it is taking about 5 days or so for most. I'll wait maybe a week unless I get it sooner.

I was wondering if there is a tricky way to make it: source bank -> Capital One directly through Paypal
Also, could you please share how Capital One coded your transactions (online or via app) - P2P or DD?
