Or you can pour the coffee into a sealed thermos when it is done to keep it warm for hours. I would not leave a glass carafe on the machine for more than a few minutes, since that tends to "burn" the coffee over time by constantly heating it.

I've been very happy with mine I bought during Prime days. I can definitely tell a difference in quality from my Ninja.

You can run hot water to heat the carraf up, it will last longer.

I've been very happy with mine I bought during Prime days. I can definitely tell a difference in quality from my Ninja.

Baratza Encore and Capresso Infinity are the usual recommendations. Baratza is a bit more expensive generally but has user-replaceable parts so can be repaired. I have the Capresso and it's great for the price but will eventually get tossed when something breaks... got mine cheap on Craigslist though.

Have two Moccamasters. Have a Baratza Encore for one and a DeLonghi Ariete for the other...use one at beach house. There are many decent grinders on Amazon for well under $100 that I'd get in a heartbeat.
This is a great deal on a machine that will improve your quality of life.

This simply isn't true.. not with mine at the least. Is your KBT carafe the old style? The new ones are far better. And if it doesn't meet your heat needs, run hot water in the carafe before making coffee. A cool carafe is a bad carafe.
