Nice deal. For those interested, these are the non-expandables so you can't go beyond 50lbs each.

I feel like I've been waiting forever to get the expandable set on a good sale.

I was too. Missed out on the last woot deal for them and just broke down and bought them from PowerBlock. I purchased stage 2 and 3 expansion plates from woot at a steal price though, so all good.

I was able to see these in person and compare them side by side with the EXP Sport.

Technically the non-EXP sports are expandable but you'd have to buy the plates all over again (stage 123) and they would fit these handle.

The handles on the EXP Sport and the non-EXP Sports are IDENTICAL in dimensions. Only difference in terms of function is that the "adder weights" are "fixed" on the non-EXP version while the handles from the EXP Sport are removable.

Otherwise, stage 1-2- and 3 from the EXP Sport variant will fit these handles exactly as they should.

In short, can't mix and match the plates from the nonEXP sport set with the EXP sport. But you can mix and match the handles since they're all the same dimensions.

Lol it's pretty stupid that they made two different sets of handles where one is stuck at 10lb without the adder weights.

I had and sold a set of these. Great dumbbells, but the weight limit pushed them out for an USA Elite 90 LB set.

Damn I want these see badly. I ended up purchasing the bowflex select tech and hate them. I know I want these because I had the classic ones before and I loved them. I wish I can sell these bowflex locally but I keep getting idiots low balling me on OfferUp

Good deal on these. I bought them at full price a year ago and they felt very bulky and boxy. I ended up with the Bowflex and liked them much more. They felt more natural like dumbbells.

Was going to buy the USA Elite for future expansions, but figured when/if I have the need to go over 50lbs I can just sell these for a minimal lose. Maybe I'll get lucky and an expandable set will go on sale for a similar price in the meantime. Thanks OP!

@200 they're pretty much borrow for free until sell. I had a set of these (or was it personal non-expandables) and they were great. Smooth taking in and out and versatile. I got the Elite EXP 90s later and sold these during covid. Powerblock has amazing support as well. My 90s had a defective plate that broke the handle and they shipped out new parts and a few extra plates as well.

That's definitely an outlier weird response… PB set to 50 is shorter, smaller and has flat ends. PB set to 25 is way, way shorter.

Nice deal. Unfortunately I'm like many, sitting on the stage 2 and 3 sets waiting for the sport exp stage 1 to come back.

I made the same comment about 10 years ago. I got talked into the expandable here and I'm glad I did.

It's not the curls that get you (although they could eventually). Rows, a gazillion squat variations, farmers walk, all chest press angles, calves, and kettlebell swings off the top of my head. You'll push yourself through these quicker than you think if you stay dedicated.

Whoa whoa I wouldn't recommend kettlebell swinging these guys. But yes I have the sport exp from earlier this year and it's been a great investment.

I'd also recommend the USA elites unless you have monster hands.
