No chance this is going front page - none at all

While there have been rumors of a PS5 Slim (or pro or whatever), I highly recommend getting this deal if you've been waiting on one. While we MIGHT see the PS5 for $399.99 on BF, IMHO it will be $449.99 with maybe a free game (or controller) thrown in at best.

DualSense is also on sale for $50 during that time.

I'm going back and forth between buying now because of the sale and red card discount, versus, seeing what Sony announces regarding a new console. The likelihood of a similar (or better) Black Friday sale if I don't want the new console is pushing me to wait

I dunno, dude. Only God of War broke through 90% threshold on Metacritic scores. The other games you mention are high B games at best.

You know how fast computers advance? Would you buy a 2020 dell PC for only a small discount? You are buying 2020 technology! I'll see if the PS6 is available within a few months of release when it hits.

Sony has really disappointed me this cycle and isn't about supply. They have so many franchises under their belt its mind boggling to see the same few over and over. Syphin filter, socom, resistance, infamous, killzone, sackboy, even uncharted hasn't had a new one since 2016. Instead they've just made a bunch of ps5 versions of ps4 games.

Went to Target to get school supplies and saw that they had a Disc Edition PS5 so I went ahead and grabbed it at regular price. Do I need to keep it in the box to price match tomorrow, or can I open it and enjoy it tonight?
