While there have been rumors of a PS5 Slim (or pro or whatever), I highly recommend getting this deal if you've been waiting on one. While we MIGHT see the PS5 for $399.99 on BF, IMHO it will be $449.99 with maybe a free game (or controller) thrown in at best.

DualSense is also on sale for $50 during that time.

actually if ur a college student you may be able to get an extra 20% if you have target circle and verify urself. last time as a teacher i bought a bunch of stuff, including dog food and a ring camera and roku and everything got the 20% off. my suspicion is cigarettes, alcohol etc wont work.

Weird they drop the price right after starting pre orders for their expensive Spider-Man 2 edition console since they are charging a premium for some plates and controller shell.

RDR1 remaster is already well known that it's coming, and GTA6 is too far away to move any current gen consoles.

Go back and look at my previous comments (page 8). This drop in price has nothing to do with anything other than the upcoming SKU change to the modular PS5.

Gamestop might be the way to go if you have consoles to trade-in. They are giving out an extra $50 to updgrade to a PS5. My One S and Series S both got a $50 boost. I used Pro Certificates to get the total to under $30.

PS5: $449.99
XBOX One S: -$138.0 0 (88.00+50)
XBOX Series S: -$242.50 (192.50+50)
$25 Certificate
$15 Certificate
$5 Monthly coupon

Total $24.49 before tax

I got the Series S from the Verizon deal when I only paid $150 for it.

That's crazy. I legit cannot get my $5 reward nor my points coupons to work on ANYTHING. I've tried so many different things. The only things it worked on was pre owned games. Support took over a month to reach out. I ended up charging back my membership fee and I'll never buy from gamestop again.

Gamestop currently has in store coupons and online coupons. I only use in store coupons because of all the trouble I heard about using the online ones. The associates usually just ask do I want to use my $5 reward and I say yeah.
