worthless laptop with non-upgradeable RAM. I get frustrated with the 16 gig in my work laptop, and routinely max it out.

I don't get why manufacturers still put out laptops with just 8gb of ram. You get 50-75% performance increase with 16gb. Then to make it non-upgradeable means it's obsolete out of the box.

500 for a machine like this is dirt cheap.
The reason is Chromebook, they can't compete.

Ugh, they gave this a very good processor - not Zen 4 but a rebrand of the 6600U (Zen 3+) - and hobbled it with 8GB nonupgradable RAM.

Shameful that they had soldered the regular DDR5 (No the LPSDR5 variant) RAM and made it non-upgradeable.

It's really annoying there's no 14" version of the Yoga 7 with a Ryzen CPU. Lenovo never treats AMD right.
