Just a heads up, PBP and PIP are not supported for this monitor due to Nvidia's non-serviceable firmware.

Was a dealbreaker for me since I'd want to utilize PBP for productivity on an ultrawide.
Dunno the new LG OLED looked awfully nice

I've chosen LG C2 42" over all these 38" (Alienware/lg/Samsung) screens two months ago and cannot be happier with this fcking awesome OLED screen for work and gaming 🥰

Agreed, you can always switch it to a 21:9 aspect if you want to, and it's incredibly immersive while gaming in 4k

Tbh, I do have C9 65" when it launched in my media room, but no issues at all.
Using C3 65" in my bedroom and now this C2 42" in my office.

If we talk about 2018-19 and those OLED rumors about degrades, dark pixels, etc I do understand but now one thing I would like to say, whoever uses OLED nowadays they won't go back to any other screens after that experience in all the area. Do your research and get the best vision at whatever your wallet allows. Period.

p.s. : good luck with your LED purchases.
I'm not saying you'd notice it now, but try a side by side comparison a few years in.

While OLEDs look amazing out of the box, there's reasons why it might not be the right choice for some people. Noteably, OLEDs degrade. Just after a year of usage, you'll notice that the picture isn't as brilliant as it once was. OLEDs also tend to degrade faster in rooms with sunlight due to UV, and also will degrade sitting in a box. If you want a great looking monitor for a year or two, go OLED, but if you want a monitor that will look pretty much as good years down the road as it was new, then traditional LED is the way to go. It all depends on how often you upgrade monitors.
If you think OLEDs simply degrade and look worse after a year, you clearly have never owned one and have no clue what you're talking about. Or you're just salty you can't afford one. It's not 2018.

Can't in a million years imagine paying $900+ for an IPS 1440p monitor, let alone thinking that's a good deal.
The OLED is literally the same price just about and so much better.
It's 1600p not 1440 btw
