I received this as a gift. It is nice but be warned that brush heads are hard to find (don't expect Costco to carry them) and are very expensive, like 4 for $34 on Amazon.

Use SCHOOL20 for 20% off instead plus stack with $20 oral b clipped coupon and $20 walgreens cash you earned during the last week walgreens marathon, making it $44 plus tax. Also don't forget cashback from your best cashback site and use a credit card that gives you 5% cashback on top.

Sam's has them on sale from time to time. The brush head price is the biggest issue (besides their increased size). These are awesome toothbrushes.

Edit: they're on sale currently

Didn't know they started carrying these but I have never seen them on sale. Right now, all I see are 6 for $55 which is even more expensive than on Amazon.

I don't see a 4 pack gentle care. Link? Edit: didn't realize you said Amazon for the 4 pack.

my issue with Amazon for these brushheads are what if they are fake? They are sold by third party but fulfilled by Amazon.
There was just a sale at Costco that ended recently on them

Brush-heads at Costco [costco.com], but you're right they're nearly 2x the price of the non-iO line

Thanks, I just ordered from Amazon, but looks like I may have to return it.

Still, if I didn't already have 2 of these (given as gifts), I wouldn't buy these because of how expensive the brush heads are. Looks like at least Sams club have them in store. I wish Costco did as well.

I got all of my Oral B 8000 series for $40 or less so I wouldn't consider that a good deal.

Fyi...All oralB electric toothbrushes are the same, some have additional (IMO useless) "features" or run a little faster...cheapest are just as effective as the most expensive .

No, they are not. I use to think the same.

I had the cheap kind from Costco that was like 2 handles for $80 vs the higher-end one bought from dental office (my friend the dentist gave me). There's a huge difference in the way it cleans.

My kids use this one (iO) and they say it's even better, but not sure if it justifies the increased cost of brush heads.

And no, I am not talking about extra features.

By your logic, might as well get those cheap rotating toothbrushes.

Nope its just a coupon you clip from the coupons section. if you don't see it in your account call customer service and they can add it for you manually.
No luck with CS for me. They said they can't add manually.

In what way? They use the same brush heads, and the mechanixs of the handle and the heads are the same...so please explain to me how they are different other than speed variation.

Some cheaper rotating toothbrushes are hard on your gums because they rely too much on quick rotation for cleaning. The motion is so fast either way that you can't just look at it and see the difference. This one also has a light on it that tells you if you're applying the right amount of pressure. That's a must have feature. Pressing too hard can do a lot of gum damage.

Great deal, amazon prime day only had the genius for 99 each, costco had 2 genius for 100 after rebate. I think amazon had the io5 for 1xx not even close to this..

Too bad I already bought the pervious gen.
