Sam's has them on sale from time to time. The brush head price is the biggest issue (besides their increased size). These are awesome toothbrushes.

my issue with Amazon for these brushheads are what if they are fake? They are sold by third party but fulfilled by Amazon.

Still, if I didn't already have 2 of these (given as gifts), I wouldn't buy these because of how expensive the brush heads are. Looks like at least Sams club have them in store. I wish Costco did as well.

I had the cheap kind from Costco that was like 2 handles for $80 vs the higher-end one bought from dental office (my friend the dentist gave me). There's a huge difference in the way it cleans.
My kids use this one (iO) and they say it's even better, but not sure if it justifies the increased cost of brush heads.
And no, I am not talking about extra features.
By your logic, might as well get those cheap rotating toothbrushes.
