Personally I absolutely hate Best buy gift cards. I keep accumulating them throughout the years. Last year I got a pixel from Best buy and they gave me like $200 in gift cards as a bonus with trade in. I probably will get more gift cards this year if there is good deals on phones. Currently I'm at $600ish. Worst case, I'll get upgraded to the next switch with whatever the next pro controller is and be able to buy a few games so I'm not too worried about it. That's basically the only thing I can think of to buy with my gift cards outside of maybe a PS5 when they launch the slim or new edition.
But if you're going to buy a TV and can get a lot on discount go ahead but just don't get screwed haha. If you're unsure about liking the TV, I would be hesitant.

I'll wait for 399. Once student loan repayments resume in October I forsee a lot appearing on the resale market. Average student loan repayment is about 450 a month.
