The battery life is short at 5 hours because they are a nice small size. The case can recharge them five times and it takes like 25 minutes to charge from 0%-80%. I have had the same pair for a couple years and use them for at least 4 hours a day on average.

Good fit in the ears, good sound quality, but battery life is a bit poor. Lasts about 4 hours for me.

I just bought a $100 pair of ear buds and they last 4 hours. Really annoying on a long flight especially since phones and tablets today don't have headphone jacks. So I need a second pair of ear buds for longer use. How stupid is that? Or if I could find one set of ear buds that last 8 hours I'd be all set. Any suggestions?
If I know I'll need it for the entire 8 hours, I use one earbud at a time. I know it's not the best solution, but I only use mine for bike and scooter rides anyways.

I did not like the sound quality on these. Personal opinion. The bass is good but treble is not clear or pleasant for music. They are great for phone calls and okay at best for movies due to the samsung codec w/ no delay... but that's about it. Earbuds for me will always be SQ 1st so I am kinda bummed these are so expensive when I know of many 30 dollar earbuds that sound as good.

I like these buds but the battery life is less than half of the Galaxy Buds 2. They probably go 3 hours with casual use. And like 5 hours with minimal use. Not a problem for me as I usually use one bud at a time but something worth noting if you use both buds.

Do they work with the pixel 6a. I can't get my Samsung buds to connect to them for some reason.
I have a pixel 7a so I cannot comment on the 6a, but they are both using Bluetooth 5.x. any 4.0+ Bluetooth headphones should work with the 6a though.

They work themselves loose and fall out often, for me. Even with comply foam tips.

Samsung buds require you to install an app. Screw them.

these worked out of the box on a Velvet and iPhone 10

These are my go-to's for outdoor jogging. Unlike just about all my Jabra's, these never feel like they're going to fall out and that's even in the summer. Charge fast, USB, and wierdly they have a magnet in them (probably to close the lid) that also helps them stick to a bit of metal in my car so I always know where they are.

I've got these and really like them. Sounds good and I don't use them long enough in a single session to complain about battery life.

Noticed that the Pros are on sale for $140. Was going to pick those up as I think the ANC would be great on planes. I have a $100 credit from a pixel purchase but just noticed that the promo code only works on the regular price. So $140 cash and keep the $100 promo for future or $100 and forfeit the $100 code. Sucks
This is a bummer. I just realized too that they apply the $100 google store credit to the full price, not the discounted price.

You can regularly get the pros for a little more on ebay. I know because I lost one of my buds and got a pro set for $80 a couple weeks ago. The benefits of pro are well worth it.
I have both these and the Pros. I use these at least 90% of the time over the Pros. These are the most comfortable earbuds I've owned. I even will sleep wearing them sometimes. But really depends on what you want to use them for. Usually I use these for watching Youtube videos and making calls for work. Music sounds ok, but they are definitely not going to beat more premium buds. I've had the Galaxy Buds, Sony 1000XM3, these Pixel Buds A-Series. I really liked them and bought the Pro's thinking it would be mostly the same but with ANC and better sound quality, but they are pretty uncomfortable so I usually just use the A-Series.

Are they any good?
It's good enough at this price, build quality and sound is good. But at MSRP? Google must be on crack.

I don't see an option to use Google Play balance at the Google store.

Agree all others said about sound quality and short battery life. Just add its good performance with microphones while in a call. They don't have active noise cancelation that I would like to have, but at this price we cannot ask for that. However It does automatically raise sound volume when in a loud environment..
We SHOULD expect active noise cancellation feature on buds that's MSRP is $100. Don't have too low of expectations. That's what manufactures want us to believe though, like you have

I don't expect to pay MSRP price on this. This is why it got cheaper. Close to the real value... What I meant is do not expect active noise cancelation for $60...
