Do not buy this for hard floors, for Carpet it is ok but for hard floors it will not pick up dirt rather send it backwards, really pathetic to not perform basic suction on hard floors. I suggest look for somthing better.

I had this vacuum until my dog chewed the cord. It was a little tank and did awesome for us.

Picked one up in store. They had a bunch of them, all at this price. Got it for my jiu jitsu school since our other one stopped working.

Have had one for a year so far and it does well with wood, don't know about carpet/rug but imo has great suction power.

I have different model. i don't like their customer service at all. The belt that spins the wheels breaks very often. Ive only had the vacuum for 2 years now. I use it for 15 minutes a week at most. Most of my apartment is wood so I can sweep quickly instead of using a vacuum all the time. The knob that controls the height is decorative and never did anything. When I told them their CS said go deal with a repair for it. T

Got this from Walmart 2 yrs ago for $59. It crapped out (motor burnt) in 6 months, when i started using it on hardwood floor. Switched to Shark stick vac from Woot at $79, with powered brush roll that works well on both type of floors.
