Tempting to buy for WFH. Worth to try. I just need a monitor that I can easily read texts on word docs or pdf. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Difficult to find many reviews, or customer comments, on this model. I too would appreciate owner comments. Too bad it's not sold in-stores, but of course it can easily be returned to a store.

Acer has so many monitor models and variations on those models. There are even many versions of the K273 monitor line that even look different, have different features, and different specs. Crazy. Acer sure pumps out large volumes monitors worldwide.

I highly recommend at least go for 2k monitor if screen is 27" and use in WFH setup, especially your eyes will thank you if you working with texts and numbers.

In addition, I would highly recommend getting IPS monitor, with higher than 100hz refresh rate, as that will make it easy for your eyes, one with good amount of brightness (nits) is also a plus.

Before people recommend higher refresh rates and resolution, this is $109, from Costco. If someone is using a MacBook or something with a small screen, the loss of resolution will be noticed, yes, but it's 4x the working area. Sitting at an appropriate distance, 1080P 27" is fine. Yes, you can see pixels. But it's a heck of a lot easier to work on a spreadsheet or long document when the fields are large enough to read without squinting. Or I'm just old.

I'm a pharmacy manager at a Costco. We had a monitor go on the fritz and needed a replacement. We can order from our direct distribution center for parts like this, or if urgent, buy off the floor - which we did. We have one of this monitor, and it works well. Colors and sharpness are appropriate for basic work functions, but main complaints are that it only pivots (vs slide up and down), and has a fairly large footprint.

I have basically this monitor and picked it up from Newegg for the same price. Only difference is mine has 2 i's in the name. It is a good gaming monitor as long as you aren't expecting the best. Even at 1080p and 27" (I have mine on a swivel mount...I don't really see the pixels). Overall looks better than my last ACER freesync monitor in colors being IPS vs TN. Sadly the side buttons stopped working after 2 months and right now is being replaced by ACER. The monitor I have does have a 3 year warranty. There are more reviews of it on newegg if you look (about 4 egg rating)...I think why there isn't that much is due to the monitor being fairly new and selling out and not coming back into stock for awhile. Hope this helps.
