Only $200 more than the U6K. I was on the fence about which model to buy and where to buy it for the extra deals and just randomly decided to check it tonight. With the savings you can get the extra warranty on Amazon as well basically for free after total cost.

the Hisense U7H is great for mixed usage. It's best for watching movies in SDR or HDR in a dark room thanks to its excellent contrast ratio and good local dimming feature. It's also good for watching shows or sports in a bright room, as it can easily overcome glare thanks to its high SDR peak brightness and good reflection handling, but it's limited a bit by its sub-par viewing angle. It delivers a very good gaming experience, with low input lag and some great gaming features. Sadly, it has a slow response time and can't display 4k @ 120Hz signals properly, which also limits its usefulness as a PC monitor.

Wow I had had my eye on the 75" version of the U7K since it came amount. Pretty crazy that it's dropped below the $1K mark already. I wonder how much lower it might go closer to Black Friday? I would rather buy it from Costco (U75K) for the better warranty, etc so hopefully they will drop their price too.

Reviews on the 75" U7K are pretty scarce but the U8K gets great reviews. I'm trying to find out if the 75" U7K has the same ADS PRO panel as the 75" U8K for those great wide viewing angles. I need confirmation on that before I make the jump.

Just looked at the U75K version on Costco's website and it's priced at $979.99 through 08/11 with free shipping. Great deal as it comes with a (3) year instead of a (2) year warranty. Also you should be able to buy the Allstate warranty for cheap from Costco too to extend it out even further.

I have the Costco variant, I am extremely happy with my purchase. TV is in my living room which is bright, we have a huge window on the opposite wall from the TV. This TV is so bright that it almost completely eliminates the glare from the window. Colors, picture quality, and sound for a "cheap" 75" is super solid. This is probably one of the best bang for buck TVs for the year.

So just to confirm you have the 75" U75K from Costco correct? This is one I have my eyes on and at the price of $979.99 I'm super tempted.

Can I ask how the viewing angles are on it? I'm trying to figure out if it has the same ADS PRO panel as it's bigger brother the 75" U8K model does. Does the picture was out when viewing from the side (say a 45 degree angle or so)?

Glad to hear that it does a great job with glare and reflections as my setup is pretty bright too with a large window on the wall opposite the tv. Not sure what you paid for it from Costco but you should be able to chat with them and get refunded the difference as it's now $979.99 at Costco through August 11th.

I know we get (3) years worth of warranty at Costco but I would be temped to add the extended warranty they offer through Allstate. With the TV being under 1K now I think to extend the warranty out to (5) years would only run $64.99 so that's some cheap insurance in my mind.

Is this the same with the Costco U75k series?

Costco has it for $979.

It is believed to be functionally identical, yes. Last year the only difference was the bezel was charcoal instead of black.

Alternately you can just use a card that adds more, like chase freedom. Shame the costco card no longer does. 4 years warranty should be good for a TV of this cost. Works out to be about 250 per year if it craps out a day after 4 years (which is very unlikely). Plus costco is awesome to buy from.

I'd like to see some more reviews of the ADS panel though. Being used to VA panels I don't want to give up anything as far as black levels, contrast, etc.

Yup I got the U75K. As soon as I saw the price dip I submitted my claim and its been approved. I should have my $100 back within a few days (I Love Costco for this and the better warranty)

I have a long living room and the tv is on one of the Long walls. I have zero issues viewing from a 45 degree angle. Honestly really happy with my purchase. I needed a TV now and was thinking of this or the QM8 from TCL. I couldn't justify the price difference for the TCL.

I watched some of the FOMO videos on this TV and made a few minor settings changes. TV is super solid and fulfills all my needs.
