It's on Amazon for the same price. I bought a second one and probably a third. These make great labs and firewalls etc (yes I know overkill for a home use)

How do these compare in terms of quality to Intel NUC that has been discontinued? Would these be good to run 24/7?

I've heard the NUC line has better build quality.
I don't know about running 24/7

For firewall, Do you use a USB ethernet adapter to get two ethernet since this only has one?

If they don't have inventory why buy? Lots of buyers having issues on previous deals, why think this would be different.

Pros:

Compared to other processors on laptops, 12650h is pretty powerful for a mobile chip and is about as good as it gets. It is faster than an i7-12700T 35W desktop CPU which is used in tiny/micro business machines from the major manufacturers - which is a desktop-class processor.

Cons:

I wouldn't trust a total no name brand without so much as a support phone number listed on their website; enough to skip over brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Intel, who all also make reliable and proven small PCs of varying sizes, granted for more $. Not a chance.

Hard pass.

Yeah thanks for that reminder.. they've been churning out such cheap machines, I never even considered who it was

Minisforum isn't really no name. I have been running a Plex server off mine with no issues for some months now. They're based on Hong Kong or China or something so there's no phone and their English wording is sometimes goofy, but there's an entire discord server for the company where you can get help and ask questions. I haven't had to use it but they've seemed responsive in there.

I'm always confused why the Intel-based mobos don't come with TB. I'd love to hook one of these little things up to my eGPU and see how it burns up...

I just want 64gb of Ram so I don't have to upgrade for two more years.
