Looks like about $46 is the normal cost of this keyboard according to Honey. Reviews seem good, but I found it unclear how this is powered. Possibly a rechargeable battery?

Its a wired keyboard... Why would it need batteries?

My reasons for questioning it...
1. Picture shows USB-C cable which is detached. I've never seen a wired keyboard with a disconnectable wire.
2. None of the other pictures show a wire coming off it.
3. One of the other 2 models on that page shows rechargeable.

There's 3 models. The cheapest model is wired only. The other 2 models have a wireless option

Detachable wire is a standard feature now (look at the Glorious GMMK and GMMK2) and it makes sense if you consider the fact that damaged wires account for at least some RMA's

That and the mechanical keyboard market is big on customization aka the millions of possible keycap options.
Look at my "pinkie[amazon.com]" 5th picture: "detachable USB-C cable", so simple and easier to store the keyboard and not bending the cable
Thanks. It's new to me. I've always stuck with wired (mechanical) keyboards and I've just never selected one with a detachable cable apparently. The idea makes sense if you store it often or somehow damage the cable, which I've never had issues with...
