If you're after in-game functions of amiibo, it's never worth the price. Just buy a bunch of NTAG215's and program them using an Android phone with NFC and TagMo.

If you're after official collectible figures to display on your shelf, go ahead and buy the amiibo.

Pick the one with the same name. You have to change sellers to Amazon and you'll see the price. It's the one for $31.98 through a third party seller. Look for the right "Link" Smilie.
