This is a good price.

Only frustrating thing about FLEXIMOUNTS wall hangers is that they have a minimum height of 22" whereas their competition (Saferacks) can go as low as 12". This is useful because for a lot of standard height garages it allows you to install them between the garage door rails and the ceiling, giving you 32 square feet of storage each in a space that would otherwise be useless. Obviously a 22" or lower hang is more useful, but the two aren't mutually exclusive (filling different gaps in your garage).

That being said, if you have a 22" or more hang, this is cheaper than Costco's Saferacks while some people consider them better built.

Speaking of which, 2 pack versions are $310, free shipping. Essentially $155 each for 3 size options.

Not as cheap as $138, but also no tax for me through saferack directly.

Edit: Costco may also have them on sale for easier returns.

Edit2: something else to consider: depending on how your trusses run, you may need to install a 2x4 to get proper support in the exact spot you're looking to install it. In my case, I have 18" of clearance above the garage door to work with and almost pulled the trigger on the 18"-33" version. But then remembered that my trusses run the same length I'm looking to install them. So I'd need a 2x4 like shown in the OP pictures to make it happen which would put me over 18".

Edit3: after some research, looks like the saferack 2 pack 4x8 have been on sale for $240 before. Fairly significant savings. I'll personally hold off.

I tried both . Saferacks are easier to assemble and better quality . I could do saferacks all by myself but had to take help of someone to hold when doing fleximounts

You could easily shorten the metal hanging rods and make it shorter if needed. As long as you are still able to use two bolts per rod, it shouldn't sacrifice strength.

I installed my Fleximounts by myself. I used bungee cables but there are many ways to solo it. There is actually a Youtube video of a 5' woman soloing it herself. I'm just posting this so others can see and not trying to nit pick your statement.

BTW I purchased this in June for $161 so it doesn't seem like that great of a deal. That said, it's a great product that I absolutely love. Just don't be like me and install it too low (above my garage door). I discovered really quickly that garage doors need more clearance where they start to bend near the ceiling.

I installed 2 of these in my garage solo, no bungee cords or anything just up and good. Took about 2 hours total to install, most of that just screwing in bolts and going up/down ladder when I dropped one

also unless the updated the pack, most annoying was their drill template didn't actually match the bars so made my own template.

It's cheaper to just donate what you don't need. I never touched the stuff I placed on the overhead garage storage and they are just a sore eye in my opinion.

I might not be a wizard when it comes to math, but 149.99 - $10 does not equal 137.99

These are nice. Got 1 for $62 in 2018. Too bad inflation is where it is.

I was thinking of hanging the garlic I need to dry off of this while tossing up the extra paper towels, tissues, TP, etc., on there.

I only have about eight inches of space between my garage door and the ceiling but I'd still like to use that space to store folding chairs and maybe a ladder. Could these be cut with a hacksaw or angle grinder to shorten their vertical supports? I've found nothing that fits in that space

I found these without the decking for ~$103, would you go with the lower price and find your own decking? http://a.co/d/bsnW5sB

Good price. I also had a $10 coupon on product page which made it $22 off total, after I applied the code in OP.

Unfortunately I only have 4x7 space where I'd need this to go
